UT Technician

About the role

Bureau Veritas, a global leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification, is seeking a Level II Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Technician for its Dammam site. The role involves setting up, calibrating and operating NDT equipment to ensure client projects meet quality, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate ultrasonic testing equipment and interpret results according to applicable codes, standards and specifications.
• Verify that all equipment, accessories and consumables have valid calibration or conformity certificates before use.
• Perform verification and calibration of instrument characteristics prior to NDT execution.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports ensuring findings conform to standards or specifications before submission to the client.

Required profile

• Level II qualification in NDT with thorough knowledge of the scope and limitations of ultrasonic testing methods.
• Ability to exercise responsibility for equipment selection, calibration and result evaluation.

Required skills

• Ultrasonic Testing (UT) operation and interpretation.
• Calibration of NDT equipment and verification of instrument characteristics.
• Preparation of technical inspection reports.
