Venue Planning Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Venue Planning Architect to support a high‑profile international sporting event in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on developing and managing venue layouts, operational plans, and technical drawings across multiple tournament sites, ensuring they meet operational, safety and accessibility standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain venue layouts, zoning, circulation and operational drawings.
• Translate operational requirements into functional spatial designs and improve space utilization.
• Coordinate venue modifications, temporary infrastructure and stakeholder requirements.
• Collaborate with operations, security, transport, accreditation, medical, commercial and broadcast teams.
• Produce and manage technical documentation, drawing registers and version control.
• Support venue preparation, crowd movement planning, access control and temporary facilities during test events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Urban Design, Spatial Planning, Interior Architecture or a related field.
• 4–8 years of professional experience in architecture, venue planning, master‑planning, event infrastructure or large‑scale developments such as stadiums, airports or transport hubs.
• Proven ability to work in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential).
