Warehouse Operation Specialist

About the role

The Warehouse Operation Specialist will support the administration of warehouse and manual‑handling processes at DHL Global Forwarding in Dammam. You will be responsible for receiving, sorting, storing and dispatching cargo while ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify and endorse incoming and outgoing materials, cargo, parts and supplies according to schedules and documentation.
• Load and unload items from pallets, trays, racks and shelves manually, and place cargo in designated storage locations.
• Prepare shipments by packing, strapping, bracing and padding cargo for trucks, containers or aircraft.
• Update shipment status, maintain inventory records and generate delivery/shipping documents in computerized systems.
• Conduct stock counts, reconcile discrepancies and perform regular inventory audits.
• Identify recurring operational issues and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide guidance or training to less experienced team members as needed.

Required profile

• Experience in warehouse or distribution centre operations, including manual handling of cargo.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety regulations.
• Attention to detail for accurate documentation and inventory control.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet defined schedules.
