Wind and BESS Site Engineer / Electrical Engineer

About the role

The Wind and BESS Site Engineer/Electrical Engineer will supervise and manage operations and maintenance activities for a renewable energy plant, ensuring equipment reliability and plant availability while adhering to HSE and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance, overhauls, and emergency breakdown response for electrical equipment.
• Develop a condition‑based maintenance culture through troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate annual outage planning, resource forecasting and technical support to meet scope, cost and timeline objectives.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation in SAP, including logs of faults, repairs, labour and material usage.
• Lead material and spare‑part planning, evaluate technical specifications and collaborate with procurement.

Required profile

• Experience supervising small teams (1‑3 direct reports) in operations and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of HSE guidelines, permit‑to‑work systems and safety compliance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal departments, EPC/OEM contractors and external stakeholders.
