AFR Specialist – Customer Service & Compliance (Riyadh)

About the role

We are looking for an AFR Specialist to join DHL Global Forwarding in Riyadh. The role focuses on customer‑first shipment handling, regulatory compliance and financial accuracy within our air, ocean and road freight operations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers regarding shipment information, incident/complaint management, ad‑hoc pricing and claims.
• Administer shipment‑level activities, including booking receipt, documentation, and coordination of local and international transport.
• Track, record and analyse operational exceptions, ensuring high data quality and compliance with regulatory procedures.
• Route and assign shipments to appropriate consolidations to meet service commitments and optimise profitability.
• Prepare invoices, debit/credit notes and supporting documentation, ensuring timely and accurate customer billing.
• Investigate invoice disputes, resolve recurring issues and propose process enhancements.
• Identify critical shipments requiring extra support or hyper‑care and assist during customer visits.

Required profile

• Mandarin Chinese speaking skills (mandatory).
• Minimum 48 months (4 years) of experience in logistics, freight or related operations.
