Application Support Analyst – FinScan Solutions

About the role

Sutherland is looking for an Application Support Analyst to join its FinScan (FinCrime Screening) team in Riyadh. You will use strong analytical and communication skills to resolve customer inquiries received via email or phone, ranging from simple questions to complex, multi‑layered issues.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse, investigate and troubleshoot software, system integrations, and product feature issues.
• Create and maintain custom SQL scripts and other software processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to accelerate issue identification and provide customer insights for bug fixes and new features.
• Perform basic product installations, supporting pathways to professional services, pre‑sales, engineering, or product management.
• Write knowledge‑base articles and contribute to self‑service portal, training modules, and video content.
• Provide actionable insights to improve existing solutions and shape next‑generation offerings.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM field (minimum 2:2).
• At least 2 years of experience working with SQL databases.
• Highly analytical with strong problem‑solving and creative thinking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written English (native or business‑level).
• Willingness to participate in a minimal after‑hours on‑call rotation.
