Architect Engineer

About the role

The Architect Engineer will lead the design and review of building plans and site layouts for Retal Urban Development Co in Khobar. The role focuses on ensuring aesthetic quality, code compliance, and client satisfaction while supporting capital improvement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review and develop building plans, ensuring compliance with Saudi Aramco codes, international standards, and accessibility requirements.
• Present design concepts to clients, incorporate feedback, and prepare cost estimates and bid proposals.
• Support the client during contractor IFC drawing reviews and participate in final inspections to recommend acceptance of construction work.
• Lead subordinate professional staff, prepare reports, and ensure all work aligns with company values and safety standards.
• Provide technical and architectural design support across projects, coordinating with clients, consultants, and vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with 1‑3 years of relevant design experience.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco codes, International Building Code, and other international standards.
• Extensive experience in industrial building design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation.
