Development Manager – Business Development

About the role

The Business Development Manager is responsible for planning, directing and managing all activities within the Business Development function, including R&D, to support the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develops policies, procedures and processes to ensure operational excellence and alignment with strategic goals.
• Identifies new projects and geographies, evaluates them against risk‑management and diversification strategies.
• Reviews detailed proposals and tender documentation, ensuring compliance with pricing, specifications and drawings.
• Supports estimating and bidding functions, preparing and submitting bid packages.
• Conducts market research and analysis to provide insights for business growth and competitiveness.
• Monitors financial feasibility of contracting projects and provides feedback to senior management.
• Liaises with corporate Business Development on latest techniques, equipment and technology.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 10 years of solid business development experience in the contracting industry.
• Proven experience in the construction sector within Saudi Arabia and the wider region.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
