About the role
The Contracts Engineer will manage interactions between the Owner and Contractors, overseeing the preparation of RFPs, contracts, bids and tenders to secure competitive pricing and quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct market surveys, source and approve contractors, and maintain a Preferred Contractor List.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and coordinate the tender process, including document collection and BOQ reviews.
- Evaluate pre‑qualification documents, review proposals, and lead tender evaluations.
- Facilitate clarification meetings, negotiate terms, and draft Service Agreements, Contracts and Letters of Intent.
- Attend on‑site project progress meetings and maintain strong business relationships with contractors.
Required profile
- 4‑5 years of experience in civil, architectural or construction management engineering.
- Professional procurement and negotiation qualification.
- Minimum 4 years in the construction field and at least 2 years in contracting & bidding.
