Artificial Intelligence Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Artificial Intelligence Engineer to design, build, deploy and operate production‑grade AI/ML solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The role covers the full AI lifecycle from data preparation to model monitoring, using Vertex AI, BigQuery and cloud‑native MLOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end AI/ML solutions on GCP, defining data, training, inference and deployment architectures that meet security, scalability and reliability standards.
• Develop, train, fine‑tune and evaluate ML/DL models with Vertex AI, including feature engineering, bias checks and benchmarking.
• Source and prepare training/inference data using BigQuery, build feature stores and pipelines, and ensure data quality and governance.
• Deploy and operate models at scale, implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, observability and cost‑optimization.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Platform teams and business stakeholders to translate use cases into scalable solutions.
• Stay current with GCP AI/ML services, improve models and pipelines, and contribute to internal standards and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• 5+ years of AI/ML engineering experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (mandatory).
• Strong experience with Vertex AI and BigQuery.
• Proficiency in Python and ML/DL frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch and scikit‑learn.
• Solid data‑engineering understanding for ML workloads.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science or a related field.
• GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Machine Learning Engineer) are a strong plus.
