About the role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive sales growth for our product certification portfolio. You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting new opportunities to closing deals, while building strong relationships with existing customers.
Key responsibilities
- Own commercial relationships with assigned customers and identify opportunities to expand product uptake.
- Generate new business through targeted outreach, networking and lead conversion to meet revenue targets.
- Lead the end‑to‑end sales process, including qualification, negotiation and closing, ensuring customer needs are met with appropriate BSI solutions.
- Coordinate with scheme managers, lab technicians and operations teams to deliver customer requirements and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline in the CRM system and produce accurate forecasts.
- Mentor Business Development Executives by sharing product knowledge and sales techniques.
Required profile
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within standards or certification services.
- Strong understanding of client needs and ability to translate them into measurable value.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Familiarity with price‑book tools and sales collateral.
