Business Operation Manager

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Business Operation Manager to lead commercial operations in Saudi Arabia. The role will manage the full value chain from supply chain and demand planning to customer service and logistics, ensuring a reliable and compliant customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end commercial operations under a direct‑to‑customer model, overseeing supply chain, demand planning, customer service and logistics execution.
• Improve operational performance by reducing delivery lead times, product rejections and ensuring consistent execution standards.
• Strengthen integration between commercial and operations teams to enhance planning accuracy and execution efficiency.
• Own and continuously improve core processes such as order‑to‑cash, allocation, returns handling and issue resolution.
• Manage the strategic relationship with NUPCO and align with national procurement processes.
• Maintain knowledge of Saudi procurement bodies and ensure readiness for tenders, contracts and institutional orders.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and quality requirements, including SFDA expectations for medical devices.
• Lead, coach and coordinate internal teams and distributor partners to meet service level agreements.
• Track and report key operational KPIs (OTIF, lead times, forecast accuracy, etc.) and drive corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 15+ years of hands‑on operational leadership experience in the Saudi market, preferably within healthcare, medical devices or pharma.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi procurement bodies, NUPCO processes and national tendering requirements.
• Proven ability to improve delivery performance, reduce rejections and manage OTIF metrics.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross‑functional teams and coaching internal and external partners.
