CAD Design Engineer – BRT Projects

About the role

SYSTRA is seeking a CAD Design Engineer to join a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project in Mekkah. The role involves creating, modifying and managing detailed technical drawings, 3D models and visual aids that support the design and construction of BRT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Produce technical drawings for BRT guideways, stations, terminals, pavement markings and signage.
• Use Civil 3D to develop 3D models of site plans, corridors and utility networks, helping to identify and avoid on‑site clashes.
• Generate multi‑scale as‑built, layout and shop drawings for construction teams.
• Collaborate with civil, traffic, utility and structural engineers to incorporate design changes and ensure compliance with local standards.
• Leverage CAD data for quantity surveying tasks such as material estimation and cost calculation.

Required profile

• High proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads.
• Solid understanding of transportation infrastructure design, particularly BRT systems, road design and utility infrastructure.
• Experience working in interdisciplinary engineering teams.
