Infrastructure Design Engineer – Water, Roads & Utilities (Middle East)

About the role

The Infrastructure Design Engineer will lead design delivery for water, roads and utilities projects across the Middle East. You will ensure designs align with client vision, technical standards and project requirements while managing multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, reports and specifications submitted by design consultants for completeness and compliance.
• Conduct constructability reviews during design and modification stages.
• Coordinate design reviews, approvals and integration with construction and procurement processes.
• Attend technical meetings with consultants, contractors and client teams.
• Evaluate design organization proposals and report findings to the Construction Manager.
• Review and recommend alternative design concepts, materials and change requests.
• Ensure all discipline documents are properly controlled in collaboration with PM document control and QA/QC managers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
• 10‑15 years of experience in architectural design, production techniques, codes, standards and construction methods.
• Strong knowledge of engineering design principles, construction field regulations and design standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
