About the role

As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) you will lead the technology vision and strategy for Echelon Digital, driving innovation and aligning technical resources with business objectives. The role is pivotal in shaping a competitive, efficient, and sustainable technology landscape within the energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate a strategic technology vision that supports overall business goals.
• Align technology strategy with market trends and regulatory requirements in the energy sector.
• Lead innovation initiatives, research and development, and product architecture design.
• Oversee technology infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
• Build, mentor, and manage high‑performing technology teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate technical concepts into executive‑level decisions.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including at least 5 years in the energy sector.
• Proven track record of developing and executing technology strategies that drive business outcomes.
• Strong technical foundation across multiple technology domains.
• Exceptional leadership skills with experience building high‑performing teams.
• Advanced communication abilities to convey complex technical ideas to executive audiences.
• Demonstrated success in managing innovation and R&D initiatives.
• Deep understanding of product architecture and technology infrastructure design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field; Master’s preferred.
