Civil Site Supervisor – Construction Site Management

About the role

The Civil Site Supervisor will oversee daily construction activities on‑site, ensuring work is performed efficiently, safely, and in strict accordance with approved project plans and specifications. This role acts as the primary liaison between the project manager, subcontractors, and on‑site teams to keep the project on schedule and within quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities, coordinate work schedules, and assign tasks to construction workers.
• Enforce safety regulations, conduct regular safety inspections, and report hazards.
• Monitor work quality, ensure compliance with project specifications, and address quality issues promptly.
• Oversee procurement, storage, and efficient use of materials and equipment on‑site.
• Serve as the main point of contact for the project manager and subcontractors, providing regular progress updates.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, collaborating with project managers and team members to find solutions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or related field is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction supervision or similar roles.
• OSHA certification or relevant safety training.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in construction management software.
