Construction Director

About the role

The Construction Director at JASARA PMC leads the planning, execution and delivery of large‑scale construction programmes. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality, safety and environmental compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all phases of construction projects from initiation through to handover.
• Develop and implement construction strategies, schedules and budgets aligned with client and organisational goals.
• Coordinate design, engineering, procurement and construction teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Monitor performance, manage risks, resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Engage with clients, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders to build strong relationships.
• Mentor junior professionals and promote team development.
• Support business development activities, including proposal preparation and bidding.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 20 years of construction management experience, including leadership of multimillion‑ or billion‑dollar programmes.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in fast‑paced, multicultural environments.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with construction management software and project tracking tools.
