Construction Engineer - Civil

About the role

The Construction Engineer – Civil will support the Expo 2030 Riyadh infrastructure program by planning, packaging, and supervising construction activities. The role ensures work is performed safely, meets quality standards, and aligns with project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist construction supervision in planning methods, procedures, and work packages.
• Coordinate engineering or construction issues with senior engineers and the Construction Manager.
• Identify and report quality, safety, and schedule concerns to the responsible manager.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Interpret design drawings, verify contractor compliance, and prepare as‑built documentation.
• Review design and vendor drawings, resolve interference problems, and assess material take‑offs.
• Coordinate vendor deliveries, material storage, expediting, and schedule‑related engineering reports.
• Attend daily/weekly coordination meetings with the contractor and compile progress reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience delivering civil infrastructure projects, including earthworks, underground utilities, and road construction.
• Experience working in the GCC, preferably Saudi Arabia.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet accelerated project schedules.
