Cost Controller – Oil & Gas Project (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller to join a reputable oil & gas project in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on budgeting, cost estimation, and financial monitoring for shutdown and turnaround activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed shutdown budgets (WBS/CBS) covering scope, labour, materials, and equipment.
• Monitor and control costs throughout shutdown/turnaround phases.
• Prepare cost estimates, track expenditures, and report variances.
• Collaborate with procurement and contract teams to ensure cost‑effective sourcing.
• Perform financial analysis, risk assessment, and cost accounting tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Finance or related field.
• 5‑8 years of experience in costing, budgeting, and cost monitoring for shutdown or turnaround projects.
• Proven ability to work in oil & gas or related industrial environments.
