Director - Development

About the role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Director of Development to lead large‑scale mixed‑use destination projects from strategy through delivery. The role balances commercial, operational and stakeholder priorities to drive ambitious developments in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end development strategy for large‑scale mixed‑use destination projects.
• Oversee project budgets, timelines, feasibility studies and delivery milestones.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors and government stakeholders across development phases.
• Drive contract negotiations, risk management and regulatory compliance for development initiatives.
• Mentor development teams and present project updates to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, construction management, business or a related field.
• 12‑15 years of leadership experience in large‑scale real estate development, including mixed‑use projects.
• Strong experience with feasibility analysis, budgeting, financial modeling and project lifecycle management.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage external stakeholder relationships.
• Experience negotiating contracts and ensuring regulatory and safety compliance.
• Professional proficiency in English.
