Director of Sales – Riyadh

About the role

The Director of Sales leads all daily sales activities for the property, focusing on building long‑term, value‑based customer relationships that drive property sales objectives. The role combines strategic planning with hands‑on execution to achieve personal and team booking goals.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of sales strategies, ensuring alignment with the segment’s revenue and market goals.
• Drive maximum revenue by setting personal booking targets and recommending goals for the sales team.
• Monitor day‑to‑day activities of direct reports, approve space releases for catering, and participate in sales calls to acquire or close new business.
• Generate proposals, write contracts, and manage customer correspondence for booked business.
• Analyze market data using sales systems, assist Revenue Management with six‑period projections, and review guest satisfaction results.
• Lead exceptional customer service initiatives, gather guest feedback, and coach employees to maintain high service standards.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field with at least 3 years of sales/marketing experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
