Equipment and Laundry Technician

About the role

This position provides technical support for Marriott's equipment and laundry operations in Jeddah. You will ensure that all computer hardware, network, and peripheral devices function smoothly to meet guest service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Follow company policies, protect assets, and address guest service needs.
• Communicate with IS personnel to troubleshoot software, hardware, internet access, and peripheral equipment issues.
• Inspect, test, diagnose, and maintain computer equipment, servers, and network infrastructure.
• Maintain inventory of technology devices and perform system backups.
• Provide end‑user support, manage user accounts, and reset passwords.
• Install, configure, and modify workstations, laptops, docking stations, printers, and cabling.
• Secure backup tapes and computer/telephone rooms, and educate users on PII protection.
• Lift and move objects up to 10 lb and perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related technical support experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
