Field Specialist - Artificial Lift

About the role

Join Baker Hughes' Artificial Lift team as a Field Specialist, providing on‑site expertise for Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) installations and maintenance on onshore oil and water wells. You will work independently and as part of a field service crew to ensure optimal well productivity and equipment longevity.

Key responsibilities

• Install and pull ESPs and associated equipment, including Y‑Tool configurations.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and test downhole ESP systems to maximize run life.
• Lead field service activities, ensuring positive outcomes for customers.
• Handle special projects and support well pre‑commissioning, commissioning, and start‑up.
• Conduct all work in compliance with HSE policies, legal requirements, and Baker Hughes core values.

Required profile

• 2–8 years of technical experience with ESPs or other artificial lift tools.
• Technical Diploma or higher in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering.
• Valid offshore experience and familiarity with POD system installation.
• Strong analytical ability to diagnose ESP issues.
• Excellent customer focus, communication, and teamwork skills.
