Head of Finance

About the role

The Head of Finance will report directly to the General Manager and lead all finance functions for Roberts Co KSA. You will own the P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and project cost management for a rapidly growing construction pipeline in Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare budgets, forecasts and monthly management accounts, highlighting variances and trends for senior leadership and the board.
• Own month‑end and year‑end close processes, including reconciliations, P&L, balance‑sheet and cash‑flow reporting.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, tax (Zakat, VAT, GOSI) and commercial matters such as contracts, insurances and guarantees.
• Lead ERP system enhancements, testing and maintenance of reporting schedules and KPIs.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, internal controls and audit documentation.
• Manage project‑level cost tracking, budgeting and P&L reporting, including subcontractor allocations.
• Coordinate board reporting, liaise with the parent company and manage external audits.
• Build and develop a finance team of accountants and support staff.

Required profile

• 10‑12 years of finance experience, preferably in construction or engineering.
• Proven senior finance leadership, with a track record of managing month‑end close and financial reporting cycles.
• Qualified accountant (CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Experience operating under Saudi Arabian regulatory and tax frameworks (Zakat, VAT, GOSI) is strongly preferred.
