Head Of Risk and Cyber Security

About the role

Foodics is seeking a senior leader to shape and drive its enterprise risk management and cyber security programmes across the region. Reporting to senior leadership and the board, the Head of Risk and Cyber Security will protect the company’s data, systems and reputation while enabling business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain the enterprise risk management framework, risk appetite, registers and reporting to the board/ERM committee.
• Lead periodic risk assessments across all business units, identify emerging operational, strategic, financial, regulatory and reputational risks, and coordinate mitigation plans.
• Own business continuity, disaster recovery planning and support internal audit with risk‑based insights.
• Develop and execute the information security strategy, policies and controls aligned with industry standards.
• Oversee security operations including threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response and penetration testing.
• Act as incident commander during cyber events and ensure timely communication to stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance with data‑protection regulations and achieve relevant certifications (ISO 27001, etc.).
• Drive security awareness training and foster a culture of risk‑aware decision making.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in risk management, information security or related fields.
• Proven track record of building and leading ERM and cyber security functions in fast‑growing technology companies.
• Strong communication skills to advise senior leadership and board members.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer) are highly desirable.
