Firefighting Lead Specialist

About the role

The Firefighting Lead Specialist will drive the development and implementation of fire protection programs across ZATCA facilities. The role combines research, field assessments, training, and coordination of internal and outsourced resources to ensure high‑level fire safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research and benchmark studies to identify latest firefighting best practices and market trends.
• Develop fire protection and firefighting guidelines based on local and international standards.
• Perform field studies to assess needs for firefighting counter‑measures and recommend corrective actions.
• Plan and deliver firefighting awareness sessions and training programs for ZATCA employees.
• Coordinate and monitor outsourced service providers to ensure comprehensive coverage of firefighting activities.
• Schedule and execute fire drills and simulation activities to evaluate evacuation effectiveness and first‑response actions.
• Analyze fire incidents, investigate causes, and implement preventive and corrective measures.
• Assess program implementation effectiveness across all facilities and adjust plans as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in fire science, public health, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant fire safety experience.
• Proficiency in HSE Management and fire prevention and protection.
• Developing level expertise in occupational health, safety, environment, and change innovation.
• Ability to support junior staff, resolve escalated issues, and follow established policies and procedures.
