Hygiene Officer – voco Riyadh Hotel

About the role

The Hygiene Officer will ensure that all food served to guests and staff at voco Riyadh meets the highest microbiological, chemical and physical safety standards. You will work closely with kitchen, store and disposal teams to maintain a spotless and compliant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce minimum hygiene standards across all work areas, including kitchens, stores, receiving and disposal zones.
• Maintain accurate records of sanitation and hygiene activities and produce an up‑to‑date methodology manual for management review.
• Promote effective communication and coordination of hygiene practices throughout the hotel.
• Lead special projects and assignments as directed by senior management.
• Conduct and chair the monthly HACCP meeting.
• Monitor, assist and execute procedures to sustain an excellent sanitary environment.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience as a Hygiene Officer or Supervisor in a hotel or large restaurant complex.
• Self‑starter able to manage multiple projects under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and a collaborative team mindset.
