About the role
We are looking for an IT Helpdesk Engineer to join Tamara’s fast‑growing fintech team. You will ensure that all employees have reliable access to hardware, software and collaboration tools, while supporting the rollout of new technologies and maintaining a secure IT environment.
Key responsibilities
- Configure and provision new‑hire laptops, ensuring appropriate system access from day one.
- Provide day‑to‑day helpdesk support for laptops, Google Workspace, Slack, video‑conferencing tools and networked printers.
- Manage virtual and physical conferencing equipment and platforms such as Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Administer enterprise software, user accounts, access controls and identity management.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date IT hardware inventory and oversee procurement of equipment.
- Lead onboarding sessions to give new employees a smooth technology start.
- Document IT activities, build knowledge‑base articles and support vendor relationships and licensing.
- Assist with the rollout of new tools and explore AI‑driven automation for support tasks.
Required profile
- 2–4 years of experience in an IT helpdesk or support role.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to communicate clearly with non‑technical users.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment.
