IT Support Engineer – Saudi Nationals (Riyadh)

About the role

Amazon is seeking an IT Support Engineer based in Riyadh to join its Operations Technology Services (OTS) team. The role is open exclusively to Saudi nationals and involves both day‑to‑day support and project work to keep critical IT infrastructure running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and monitor IT hardware, software, networking and server infrastructure across the home site and supported remote sites.
• Serve as an escalation point for IT Support Technicians, remote teams and Operations on technical issues.
• Collaborate with global subject‑matter‑expert teams to install and maintain networking and server equipment according to Amazon standards.
• Manage equipment availability, drive continuous improvement, and seek cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Lead site‑level projects, working closely with business stakeholders, fellow engineers and remote support teams.
• Provide clear verbal and written communication with senior management and multiple business entities.
• Occasionally travel to support remote locations or project activities.

Required profile

• Saudi nationality as required by local labor regulations.
• Proven experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to act as a technical escalation point.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Riyadh and travel when needed.
