Junior Plant Accountant

About the role

Kerry, a global leader in taste and nutrition, is seeking a Junior Plant Accountant to join its finance team in Jeddah. You will support the Plant Controller by delivering accurate manufacturing financial reports, analysing costs, KPIs, inventory and labour, and ensuring compliance with internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Plant Controller with monthly financial reporting, including performance commentary, cost reports, KPI dashboards and inventory analysis.
• Perform SAP variance analysis, manage stock counts, and oversee fixed‑asset tagging, annual counts and disposals.
• Maintain P2P controls, review open purchase orders and follow up on actions.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and GBS to close the Material Ledger on schedule and verify material cost components.
• Support product and process costing, ensuring yields, labour and overhead standards reflect true manufacturing costs.
• Participate in physical inventory counts at the plant and external warehouses, handling write‑offs in line with KCSA policy.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience or strong interest in manufacturing or plant finance.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
