JV Manager – Gold Mining Project

About the role

The Joint Venture (JV) Manager will provide strategic leadership and oversight for a newly formed gold mining joint venture in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures the execution of shareholders’ exploration, resource definition, project development and mining strategies while driving safe, efficient and innovative operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the JV’s work program as committed to the shareholders.
• Develop and execute work plans aligned with project requirements and exploration results.
• Manage operational functions and ensure delivery of approved plans.
• Assess and optimise future mining projects.
• Ensure safe operations across exploration, project definition, construction and mining activities.
• Control costs within approved budgets.
• Provide timely and accurate reporting to shareholders.
• Maintain strong governance standards, including procurement compliance.
• Lead and develop high‑performing leadership teams and promote a strong safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with legal, environmental and regulatory requirements, including mining licence applications.
• Represent shareholders’ interests within the joint venture.
• Engage effectively with local communities and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic leadership and oversight of joint‑venture mining projects.
• Strong background in exploration, resource definition and project development.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large‑scale operational functions and budgets.
• Excellent knowledge of safety, environmental and regulatory standards in mining.
• Effective communication skills for stakeholder and community engagement.
