Portfolio Controls Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Portfolio Controls Manager to lead monitoring, controlling and reporting of a strategic portfolio of projects within Vision Industries. The role ensures financial discipline, data‑driven visibility and executive‑level insights across development, construction and operation phases.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain consolidated dashboards covering project status, schedules, CAPEX/OPEX and key performance indicators.
• Monitor performance across all phases, track cost, schedule and performance against approved baselines, and flag early‑warning signals.
• Perform variance analysis on budgets, timelines and financial results, supporting IRR and cost‑efficiency monitoring.
• Consolidate data from multiple stakeholders and systems, and develop analytical dashboards using Power BI, Excel and Primavera P6.
• Track and manage portfolio‑level risks, including delays, cost overruns and external factors.
• Prepare executive reports, portfolio reviews and investment‑committee materials while ensuring compliance with governance frameworks.
• Drive continuous improvement of portfolio management processes and reporting standards.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in project controls, planning, cost control or risk management on mega‑scale projects (energy, solar, wind, industrial infrastructure).
• Strong expertise in CAPEX/OPEX tracking, cost control and schedule management.
• Hands‑on experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and advanced Excel/Power BI.
• Deep understanding of project financials such as IRR, LCOE, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Proven ability to prepare executive‑level reports and dashboards for C‑level or board audiences.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, industrial or related).
