Manager, Sales Engineering (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

Checkout.com is looking for an experienced Sales Engineering Manager to lead technical engagements with merchants across the MENA region, primarily based in Saudi Arabia. You will act as the technical authority throughout the sales cycle, from initial qualification to solution design, integration and go‑live.

Key responsibilities

• Qualify merchants' technical requirements and assess infrastructure suitability.
• Partner with the Sales team to provide deep product, business and technology knowledge during pre‑sales activities.
• Design, prepare and lead technical and commercial workshops for prospects.
• Contribute to complex proposals, RFP and RFI responses.
• Develop and document custom merchant solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
• Maintain ongoing technical communication with merchants throughout the sales process.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a sales engineering or technical pre‑sales role, preferably within fintech or payments.
• Strong ability to translate business and technical requirements into viable solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Collaborative mindset to work closely with cross‑functional teams in Technology and Business.

Required skills

• Technical leadership and solution architecture experience.
• Familiarity with payment processing platforms and integration patterns.
• Ability to conduct technical workshops and deliver detailed solution documentation.
