Mechanical Engineer – Infrastructure & HVAC Projects

About the role

Coastal Contracting Company, a subsidiary of Red Sea Global, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of infrastructure, HVAC, and public health systems for large‑scale projects in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures compliance with codes, standards, and best engineering practices while supporting the company’s vision for sustainable development.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate design documents for HVAC, public health, fire protection, gas, BMS and energy management systems.
• Coordinate with senior team leaders, designers and end‑users to ensure project requirements are met.
• Check specifications, reports and drawings for quality and compliance.
• Oversee material submittals, RFIs, shop drawings and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure testing, commissioning and training are performed according to best practices.
• Manage project documentation and close‑out deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
• Professional membership in ASHRAE, CIBSE, ASME, LEED or BREEM.
• Minimum 7 years of design and project administration experience on large‑scale projects, preferably in the Middle East.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary coordination and deliver projects on schedule.
