Mechanical Technician – Tornado Aircraft Maintenance (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

Morson Edge is recruiting experienced Mechanical Technicians to support a client in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on airframe maintenance of RSAF Tornado aircraft, covering scheduled, unscheduled and modification work in line with PE1/PE2 schedules and RSAF technical orders.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled airframe maintenance on Tornado aircraft, including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, rectification, reassembly and testing.
• Provide labour hour estimates and ensure all work meets quality and completeness standards.
• Complete required maintenance documentation, aircraft records and adhere to TPDMU Quality System and RSAF Technical Orders.
• Support programme timelines safely, efficiently and cost‑effectively.
• Deliver on‑the‑job and theoretical training as required and deputise for the Supervisor when needed.

Required profile

• Completion of a recognised trade apprenticeship and Tornado aircraft maintenance course.
• Minimum six years’ experience in the trade, with at least two years on Tornado IDS aircraft.
• Current UK or Saudi driving licence.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work with RSAF documentation.
• Valid authorisations for assigned tasks and a proactive approach to training needs.

What we offer
