Medical Advisor (Psoriasis/Dermatology)

About the role

The Medical Advisor will serve as the scientific and medical expert for psoriasis and dermatology within Takeda’s Saudi operations. The role combines scientific leadership, stakeholder engagement and evidence generation to support therapeutic area priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide scientific expertise and medical guidance to internal and external stakeholders, staying current on disease areas, treatment paradigms and emerging data.
• Establish and maintain long‑term relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals and academic institutions, leading scientific exchange activities.
• Gather and translate medical insights into actionable recommendations for evidence generation, patient‑focused initiatives and business decisions.
• Support investigator‑sponsored studies, real‑world evidence projects and other medical research collaborations.
• Develop and deliver scientific training for internal teams and act as a medical resource across functions.

Required profile

• University degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences or related field with 3–5 years of Medical Affairs experience in pharma.
• Strong scientific knowledge of psoriasis and/or dermatology; experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage medical priorities and engage KOLs and cross‑functional teams.
• Understanding of healthcare regulations, GCP/GVP, scientific exchange principles and compliance standards.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
