Medical Representative – Pharmaceutical Sales

About the role

AstraZeneca is seeking a Medical Representative to join its growing team in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for influencing prescribing behaviour, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and driving sales of designated products within your territory.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all training and product examinations required for the role.
• Engage primary‑care healthcare professionals in discussions about approved indications, efficacy and safety of AstraZeneca products.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop and execute a territory business plan that meets or exceeds sales targets.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, budgets and call‑execution metrics.
• Stay informed on market, demographic and managed‑care data relevant to the assigned territory.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations governing interactions with healthcare professionals and sample distribution.

Required profile

• Saudi national.
• Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical science.
• Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience in a pharmaceutical company; multinational experience is a plus.
