Pre Sales Engineer – Elevator Systems (Saudi National)

About the role

The Pre‑Sales Engineer will analyse client and tender requirements for elevator installations, ensuring solutions meet safety standards and performance expectations. Working closely with sales and engineering teams, you will help shape tailored elevator proposals for a variety of building types across Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse building specifications, height, traffic flow and usage to recommend appropriate passenger, freight or panoramic elevators.
• Perform traffic analyses to determine elevator quantity, speed and capacity.
• Ensure designs comply with local codes, safety regulations and industry standards.
• Develop detailed technical specifications and input data into the E‑GIS system.
• Prepare drawings and layout plans, including shaft size, machine‑room dimensions, pit depth and headroom.
• Request CIF/FOB pricing from factories and collaborate with internal teams to estimate costs.
• Support the sales team in client, consultant and contractor meetings, answering technical queries during the bidding stage.
• Review tender documents, respond to RFQs/RFPs and clarify technical aspects of proposals.

Required profile

• Saudi national with at least 1 month of relevant experience.
• Strong technical aptitude for elevator systems and building‑services engineering.
• Ability to interpret codes, standards and tender documents.
• Effective communication skills to interact with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders.
