Procurement Specialist – Construction Materials & Equipment

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage the sourcing and purchasing of construction materials, equipment, and operational services for our infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Execute procurement activities for construction materials, equipment, and operational requirements.
• Review purchase requests from site teams, verifying specifications and quantities.
• Source approved suppliers and obtain competitive quotations.
• Prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets and submit recommendations.
• Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers.
• Prepare and process purchase orders according to company procedures.
• Follow up deliveries to ensure materials arrive on time at the project site.
• Coordinate with project teams and warehouse staff regarding procurement needs.
• Track supplier invoices and liaise with the finance department.
• Maintain an updated supplier database and pricing records.
• Monitor local market prices and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with procurement, quality, and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of procurement experience in construction or infrastructure companies.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and suppliers within Saudi Arabia.
• Experience using ERP systems and procurement software.
• Good negotiation, communication, and English language skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
