Procurement Specialist – Trading & Project Materials

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will lead the sourcing and acquisition of trading and project materials for industrial, construction and maintenance projects across Saudi Arabia. You will work closely with internal project teams and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality materials that meet client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Source and procure electrical, mechanical and civil materials from local and international suppliers.
• Obtain quotations, prepare price comparisons and evaluate suppliers.
• Coordinate with project, technical, finance and logistics teams to align procurement with project schedules.
• Track shipment status, manage customs clearance and ensure all import documentation complies with SABER/SASO requirements.
• Maintain a supplier database and develop strong vendor relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 + years of procurement experience in the GCC, preferably Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of local suppliers, vendors, manufacturers and material markets.
• Understanding of Local Content requirements, LC procedures and banking documentation.
• Experience with customs clearance, import documentation and coordination with clearing agents.
• Ability to negotiate, evaluate and finalize suppliers based on quality, delivery and cost.
