About the role
The Hospital in Dammam is seeking a Procurement Supervisor specialized in medical supplies. The role focuses on acquiring equipment, devices, and consumables that meet clinical needs while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Process purchase requests for medical items and generate purchase orders.
- Source vendors, obtain competitive quotations, and negotiate terms.
- Ensure all purchases comply with SFDA regulations and hospital standards.
- Coordinate with biomedical and clinical teams to define technical specifications.
- Track orders through delivery, resolve discrepancies, and optimize costs.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, or a related healthcare field.
- Proven experience in medical procurement.
- Relevant certifications such as CIPS, CSCP, or Lean Six Sigma are preferred.
Required skills
- Vendor sourcing and quotation analysis.
- Purchase order management.
- Regulatory compliance knowledge (SFDA).
