Production Senior Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Production Senior Operator to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on monitoring equipment condition, applying lean manufacturing tools, and ensuring smooth operation of production machines to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor asset condition in real‑time, analyse indicators and prioritize maintenance actions.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing principles such as Just‑In‑Time, Six Sigma, Ishikawa, 5S, SMED and PDCA to optimise processes.
• Operate production machinery according to Standard Operating Procedures and safety guidelines.
• Support maintenance activities by identifying spare‑part needs and assisting with routine upkeep.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to transform raw materials into finished goods efficiently.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior production or operator role within an industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of condition monitoring and preventive maintenance concepts.
• Familiarity with lean tools and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Ability to follow SOPs, work safely and contribute to team goals.
