Project Engineer

About the role

The Project Engineer will support and manage commercial electrical projects, ensuring they meet the company’s strategic objectives and customer expectations. This full‑time position is based in Riyadh and involves close collaboration with sales, marketing, engineering, and production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor engineering projects, keeping them on schedule, within budget, and compliant with technical specifications.
• Coordinate technical teams, contractors, and consultants to guarantee adherence to project standards.
• Provide regular progress reports to management, highlighting challenges and improvement opportunities.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Review contracts, drawings, and technical documents for compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and alignment with their needs.
• Monitor safety and legal compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Interpret client requirements and deliver appropriate engineering solutions.
• Resolve engineering issues that arise during execution.
• Organize, prioritize, and manage workload to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with external contractors to verify equipment meets technical specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related engineering field.
• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
• 2–4 years of experience in engineering project management, preferably in transformers or heavy electrical equipment.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.

Required skills

• Familiarity with international standards such as IEC, SASO, and SEC.
• Proficiency with MS Project and AutoCAD.
• Experience using engineering software and project‑management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
