Senior Field Service Engineer – Food Processing Machinery

About the role

Al Waha Industrial Factory, a Jeddah‑based manufacturer, is launching a new business line supplying and servicing machinery for food producers in Saudi Arabia. The company seeks a senior engineer to lead the technical side from the first installation onward.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission machines at customers' plants.
• Carry out preventive maintenance visits and troubleshoot breakdowns on site.
• Train customers' operators and maintenance teams.
• Handle technical inquiries, prepare quotations and sample requests, and verify supplier offers against customer needs.
• Maintain clear records, including visit reports, machine checklists, and project updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of experience in field service, technical support or maintenance of industrial machinery.
• Hands‑on experience with PLC‑controlled machines, including fault diagnosis on PLCs and HMIs.
• Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics, and work with sensors and drives.
• Food industry experience strongly preferred (processing or packaging lines such as meat, poultry, dairy, bakery).
• Fluent in Arabic and English; French is a plus.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across Saudi Arabia.
