Quality Control Supervisor – Mechanical & Welding (Offshore)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Supervisor to lead mechanical and welding inspections on offshore oil & gas projects. The role involves ensuring compliance with Aramco standards and project QA/QC plans while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all QC activities for mechanical, piping, structural, electrical and instrumentation works on offshore sites.
• Review and approve inspection test plans, method statements and material inspection reports.
• Conduct joint inspections with Aramco and prepare documentation for approval.
• Monitor implementation of welding procedures, NDT, coating and material traceability programs.
• Coordinate with construction teams to ensure timely inspection and release of work.
• Maintain calibration and upkeep of inspection equipment.
• Manage and mentor QC inspectors across various disciplines.
• Prepare daily/weekly QC progress reports and non‑conformance reports.
• Lead root‑cause analysis and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure proper documentation traceability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Aramco approval as QC Supervisor or Engineer (valid).
• 8–10 years of QA/QC experience in oil & gas EPC, with at least 5 years on offshore projects.
• Strong knowledge of ASME, AWS, API, ISO and ASTM standards.
• Valid BOSIET/HUET and medical fitness certificates.
• Leadership, communication and reporting skills.
