Quality Engineer

About the role

KONE is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to ensure that all products and processes meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with the Quality Manager to drive continuous improvement, support audits, and promote quality awareness across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritize quality performance improvement based on data analysis.
• Investigate non‑conformances, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Create and analyse large datasets from multiple platforms to identify trends.
• Support the Quality Manager with target setting and internal/external audits.
• Perform in‑process and product inspections, testing, sampling, and validation.
• Maintain and update quality records in accordance with procedures.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective actions for quality improvement teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 4–5 years of experience in the elevators & escalators industry.
• ISO 9001 quality certification (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of quality‑assurance terminology, methods and tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Professional certifications such as Six Sigma, CQE or CQA (preferred).
