Radio Frequency Engineer

About the role

SAIC is looking for a Radio Frequency Engineer to support the installation and integration of C4I system racks and components for the Royal Saudi Naval Forces. The role involves on‑site work at RSNF vessels, command centres and training facilities, as well as coordination with the Technical Support Center for communications verification.

Key responsibilities

• Perform RF cabling, terminations and operational testing during system installations.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑installation Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) surveys and produce summary reports.
• Maintain engineering documentation, hardware configuration control items, system drawings, bill of materials, cable run sheets and serial number lists.
• Review RF quality issues, update documentation with corrective actions, and provide technical solutions.
• Repair, troubleshoot and test radio communication circuits (UHF, VHF, HF, VSAT, SATCOM, LINK‑11/16) on ashore and afloat platforms.
• Fabricate test cables, perform soldering and fiber‑optic terminations, and handle components with ESD precautions.

Required profile

• Experience supporting analysis and evaluation of RF systems.
• Proven ability to conduct EMI surveys and generate detailed reports.
• Hands‑on experience with RF hardware installation, repair and modification according to technical orders.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with engineering and external customers.
