Real Estate Investment Senior Director

About the role

The Senior Director of Real Estate Investment will lead AIC’s investment function, shaping portfolio strategy and overseeing the full investment lifecycle. This strategic position reports directly to the Managing Director and influences high‑impact transactions and partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement real estate investment strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with corporate objectives.
• Monitor portfolio performance, recommend strategic initiatives, and track long‑term goals.
• Evaluate asset monetization, joint‑venture, and fund formation opportunities, including financial modeling and market feasibility studies.
• Prepare investment memos, presentations, and internal reports for committees and senior leadership.
• Lead deal structuring, negotiations, and due‑diligence processes across financial, legal, and operational domains.
• Identify and assess joint‑venture, development, and strategic partnership opportunities.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Development, and other cross‑functional teams to ensure risk‑adjusted execution.
• Support portfolio optimization, repositioning, and exit strategies.
• Represent the investment team in governance forums and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in economics, finance, accounting or a related discipline from a reputable institution.
• Significant local real‑estate investment experience in a reputable investment firm, family office, fund manager, or specialized advisory firm.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving collaborative outcomes.
