Recruiter – Saudi Arabia Operations

About the role

Weatherford is seeking an experienced Recruiter to own end‑to‑end hiring for its Saudi Arabia operations. You will partner directly with operational and functional leaders to fill field, technical, and support positions across the Kingdom, from sourcing to offer.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle for assigned requisitions, including intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing and offer management.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, timelines and expectations.
• Proactively source candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking and direct outreach, focusing on oil and gas technical and field talent.
• Build and maintain pipelines for hard‑to‑fill roles such as Field Engineers, Technical Sales, HSE and Supply Chain.
• Coordinate interviews, gather feedback and keep candidates informed throughout the process.
• Prepare and present offers in line with compensation guidelines and negotiate as needed.
• Support Saudization targets by developing local sourcing channels, including universities, technical institutes and government programs.
• Maintain accurate ATS data (Oracle HCM) and report on pipeline health, time‑to‑fill and source effectiveness.
• Collaborate with HR, mobility and government relations on visa, iqama and onboarding for Saudi nationals and expatriates.
• Represent Weatherford at career fairs, university events and industry forums.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of full‑cycle recruitment experience, in‑house or agency.
• Proven experience recruiting for the oil and gas sector, preferably oilfield services, drilling or upstream operations.
• Track record of filling technical and field‑based roles, including high‑volume hiring.
• Strong direct‑sourcing skills with the ability to build pipelines without relying on agencies.
• Working knowledge of the Saudi labour market, Saudization (Nitaqat) requirements and local hiring practices.
• Fluent in English and comfortable managing relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
