Remote Human Resources Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Remote Human Resources Assistant to support core HR operations for our distributed team. You will keep employee records accurate, help with onboarding and off‑boarding, and ensure HR workflows run smoothly while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee records across HR systems.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding processes, including documentation and scheduling.
• Prepare HR documents such as contracts, letters, and internal communications.
• Respond to basic HR inquiries and route requests to the appropriate team members.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, documentation standards, and data‑privacy requirements.
• Organize digital HR files using standardized naming and filing systems.
• Monitor HR workflows, identify delays or gaps, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Maintain HR trackers and provide regular status updates.
• Assist with audit preparation by ensuring documentation is complete and accessible.

• Clear written communication with a professional tone.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently.
